ERROR: Can’t get master address from ZooKeeper; znode data == null

Here is some help for this command:
List all tables in hbase. Optional regular expression parameter could
be used to filter the output. Examples:

hbase> list

开始启动

/home/hadoop-2.7.3/bin

./hadoop namenode –format 就报上面的错误

  你这个问题我也遇到了，
  排查步骤，
  1.刚刚上面老师也说了，你的datanode没有起来。你验证下 jps，datanode是否起来了，如果没起来可能是多次namenode format这个原因造成的https://blog.csdn.net/huguihua2002/article/details/100079564
  2.如果datanode是OK的，那么起来之后还是有这个问题，你就看去~/hbase/log中看看是属于哪个模块报错了。我是由于hdfs的端口号和老师配置的不一样，导致的。
  3.如果继续排查不了，可以看看相关stackoverflow,上面别人的提问，解释的也很合理
